The newly launched Irish Business Network Scotland was delighted to welcome Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, TD to our first network event in Glasgow.
He was very positive about the IBNS and its remit, and how both nations can grow its already strong trade links through the continued support from the Irish and Scottish Governments.
IBNS Chairperson, Colm Moloney introduced the Taoiseach to the Glasgow audience, who then spoke freely on the fantastic trade links, with over £60billion worth of business crossing the Irish Sea annually in either direction. With the upcoming EU Referendum, it was very important for our members and guests to discuss and question the Taoiseach on the impact commercially post-vote.
A massive thank you to our sponsors for the event – RSM who were fantastic hosts!
