1st Anniversary & Awards Dinner

Irish Business Network Scotland’s first anniversary and awards ceremony will be hosted at the City Chambers in Edinburgh on 8th June 2017

Edinburgh_City_Chambers

Join us and co-hosts, the Consulate General of Ireland in Scotland, and members of the Irish Business Network Scotland, for a celebration of our first year supporting and enhancing business links between Ireland and Scotland. After a successful launch in Edinburgh Castle on 8th June 2016, it was a natural choice to return to the Capital for our anniversary dinner and awards ceremony.

Delighted to introduce our event sponsors Festival Village & Malone’s on the Mall.

In January this year one of Edinburgh’s most well known Irish bars closed it’s doors on Forrest Road for the last time. However, we all know the closing of one door means the opening of another and the team at Malone’s took on a mammoth challenge – opening an outdoor pop up bar in Scotland…in the depths of winter!
The purpose of the pop up was to provide a dedicated fan zone for the 6 nations tournament since then the venue has gained popularity and due to its continued success the Festival Village was born.

Waverley Mall will see a new summer festival venue on it’s rooftop showcasing Moet & Bombay pop-ups, a Champagne and Seafood bar; sourcing Irelands world famous oysters, craft beer bar & grill; The Butcher Boy and M2 live music area.
